So I misread my hand, and couldn't help myself (9) So I misread my hand, and couldn't help myself (9)

I thought the flop was 883 while multitabling and only noticed what I had done after donking the flop. Notes on villain said "goes crazy against donkbets" so I was trying induce by donking a boat, as no one ever believes anyone to be donking a boat. He's a some kind of reg, pretty solid stats on the tag side, I don't know if he's actually any good. What's also missing is the crucial bit of information (how bad am I at note-taking?) of whether he reacts to donkbets by spazz raising or whether he's capable of at least taking belieavable lines (floating so he can rep trips better).

So, now that I've got here... On the turn do you like my plan to check-raise? My logic was that if he has an ace he's going to bet it but doesn't want to stack off because I can have an 8, and if he has a float he's going to bet that card for sure. And if he checks back I can bet like 2,5x pot on the river to get him to fold all the pairs etc.

Once I've done this and he calls, with this slight lack of information is the river a mandatory shove or should I just give up assuming he would've folded turn if he was going to fold?

He can beat 3-3 but what does he really believe you have? This is far more about his notes on you than yours on him.

Give up on turn after reading note and realizing what you've done. Give up on river after he calls turn.

This is what I was thinking. Your line looks so full of **** especially if he knows anything about you... but for this reason, I think its great for value against this villain.

its tough calling your river ship with ATs+ at 10/20.

im fine with the turn c/r, and having been in similar misclick/misread spots, would find it hard not to follow through and river ship.

If you think his line is so FOS, do you not think it's better to give up on river, because if villain has a bluff catcher, he'll check back river anyway? However if he has a hand that is better than ours, from what your saying he's never folding anyway? And imo, it's more likely he has a hand greater than ours.

Fwiw, I think it's a decent river card to bluff if you really want to go for it, I don't see us really ever getting called by worse. Villain may think you donked 76, possibly picked up clubs on turn and took this line to rep an 8 but then got there.
