villian is aka_advanced, i have no history with him and no reads but a few hands mined that say hes tight, not from this tournament tho and obviously hes v bigstacked and might have loosened up. ive played tight so far at this table and since cruising @ 20bb

cant see how he could ever have a worse hand than 88. Plus its not like there are even any draws out there he could be shoving as a semi bluff. Think youre beat here 100% of the time.

I'd fold... too many good players in this tournament who aren't going to get it in bad.. there aren't any draws and all you can beat is a complete bluff. I guess it also depends on the villians tendencies.. But since you say he's tight from previous experience, I think you're better off getting it in where you feel more comfortable getting it in.

Can't see the purpose of betting flop when we're pretty unhappy if he shoves and really unhappy if he flats. With your read and stacksizes I'd c/f flop. There's 4 squeezing stacks behind him and he has to call 3 of em

don't think he shoves often, and if he flats hes floating a ton and we can barrell away and call accordingly.
