I don't mind b/f for protection and possibly value against a 9 of some kind.

How wide do you think MP2 is pre? If you said "Not bladed," you lose at HSMTT.

If you'll indulge me, how do we put a random MP2 at the top of his range when he flats pre?
Understandably, he doesn't have a 3b/f range against Hero. Even if he doesn't have a 3b range at all (possible) it doesn't mean that he's not flatting some other stuff too.
Am I doing it wrong?

Edit: Or are you examining the entire hand as played? Obv checking back flop and raising turn is monstrous, but I mean looking solely at pre...

Eh it gets closer if they're all random fish but we're still probably not ahead of that player's flatting range on this turn and it's a 3-way pot. If you're betting for "protection" and value from 3rd pair hands, it should be a lot smaller.
