X/r flop, as played call turn, what's the river?

as played on flop, no way you are just calling. I am raising 14000+

don't know about turn though, calling is fine but not sure about raising since if you get reraised , you want to puke

x/r flop seems good if we know V likes to cbet. As played our hand is almost always good on the flop so I would probably 4bet hoping to get value from AJ AQ AK

Raise flop

Depends how we view villains range.

Do people really limp AK/AQ utg and then raise this flop when hero has lead out repping a pretty strong range, surely AK/AQ is just a call for the villain. WHen we get raised villain should pretty much have 2 pair hands/sets(which we block two of) and maybe some flush draws.

Calling seems fine on the flop as can't see villain putting in 40bb with worse than what we hold unless of course it is a decent FD.

If we have given villain the range of two pairs and FDs then once the Tc hits we beat exactly nothing. I could be wrong here in my initial assessment that people would not raise a one pair hand on this flop but if that assessment is correct then we really are in a world of trouble.

Raising to 14,000 on flop achieves nothing as he folds all his bluffs (unless he is prone to spew) and just continues/jams all his better hands/decent draws which leaves us guessing which one it is as we have pretty much 0 equity against all his value shoves.

As played I think it is a fold.

So cursey lemme know if I understand u correctly. U say villain raising a bare ace on this flop is bad when you are advocating that hero folds top and bottom (better hand) but jams his draws (worse hand)?

As played I would prefer to lead/gii since we block many strong hands in his range and randoms often raise flop with rubbish to protect it against draws.

username was something like babiigurrlxo

what confused me was the limp UTG.. I feel like weak/bad players usually limp UTG with 45s-QJs ... 22-99 ... and AA specifically ...

I think it's very unlikely Vs limping range UTG includes Ax-AK

I also think that the 45s-QJs part of Vs range does not raise the flop

leading this flop seems fine to me

and I made the worst possible decision on the turn... ya'll can deduce.

Checkraising flop is better since you are checkfolding this flop a lot so even random limpers take a shot at it on the flop here, even with those suited hands that miss.

As played I wouldnt try to get it in on the flop since worse hands that are raising for value like the occasional limped AK/AQ will fold on your turn 3bet which is terrible for your equity when you get it in on the flop.

X/c turn as played and reevaluate river, depending on sizing could be call or fold

I agree, but that's why you want to get it all in on the flop. I think lots of people limp UTG with a suited ace or even an offsuit ace, as well as with AK or AQ (though those last two happen less often). And I agree with whomever said that lots of people aren't folding any ace in that scenario, especially at those stack depths.

To me, this hand is a perfect example of why you want to try to get it in--if the stack depths allows you to do it reasonably--on the street where you're strong. The third club might beat you, but even if it doesn't, it goes a long way towards killing your action--or towards opening you up to a bluff. If you're getting action from a hand that you beat, you're way more likely to get that action on the flop, given those stack depths and that board. On a dryer board, you can go slower, maybe, although even then, with top/bottom, there are lots of ways you can get in trouble on an ace-high flop. Leading with the hope of getting raised so you can shove when the effective stack is 35bb and you have a two-pair hand that is as vulnerable as this one seems like the optimal play to me
