Id bet more preflop. I like the flop. Id bet more on the turn. I call the river because it looks enough like a bluff.

Was a sick spot, saw this as it happened, interested to hear responses.

you beat like 3 or 4 combos against a "solid reg" (108cc, Q10c, KQcc, K10cc). I prob check this flop pretty often 3 ways. As played, you either got tarped with a fh or he got there, doubt he ever has worse for value, sigh and fold imo

I assume you bet the turn bc of the possible draws and in that case one of them got there. Fold as played.

I think the better line on the turn would have been to check/call. If he checks behind you, you can still bet any river for 2 streets of value. If the river completes and he still shoves over your river bet, its makes it an easier fold.

    not sick whatsoever, fold
    12-21-2012 , 07:24 PM
    c/f flop
    c/f river
    12-22-2012 , 05:16 PM
    C/f flop
    Kinda dig check raise turn
Fold river unless he's a sicko capable of turning a jack into a bluff

Are ppl cbetting this if it was a hu pot?
    12-26-2012 , 10:13 AM
I vote c/f flop. You have only 4 outs to improve and between the two of them (let alone just the button) they have more than enough in their range to proceed

Man, flop c-bet is all kinds of bad, but I'm not sure I want to fold the river because of it. It's really really hard for villain to have heart draws that don't want to raise this flop, especially when we bet such a ridiculous size.
