what's your turn play? flop we def could go a bit bigger with our cb, but I like to go a bit smaller when being the 3bettor. so that's why we end up with spr1 on the turn...

uhm..shove?

I make it a bit bigger pre and on flop, vs a random (most likely based on his stats, even though sample is only 20 hands)

Shove turn for value.

pre is fine but make it at least 5675 otf so you will have psb ott

I don't mind the raise size pre with 30bb, but as most pointed, a little bigger on the flop would have been better.
As played gotta move in on the turn

Nope. Hero makes a pretty big mistake by not betting at least 5750 otf.

id rather bet/bet/shove than bet/shove aces in 3b pot when we're on the button and 3b pre
02-28-2012 , 09:48 PM
1/2 pot flop; bet 80% of stack on turn

7125
all

Let's all post random numbers!

nobody want to get tricky and check the turn behind, so we might get some more value from QQ-TT and probably bluff-induce villain on non-spade rivers?

No, don't give villain free equity and balance for when we have like AsQd and shove this turn. Shoving turn looks bluffier than checking it back and shoving river as well.

Your mistake was betting so small on the flop, especially vs opponent, who has 3x more chips at the start of the hand. If you bet like half the pot on the flop, decision with shoving turn would be easier for you to make (as this would be almost a pot-sized bet), he may have KT-KQ or smth like 88 and he is not scared of overcards and spades and he might think you didn't connect the flop, as you bet smallish he could float the flop with air.

So yeah, Shove, no reason in slowplaying or being afraid of spades or a set

If you want to go small on the flop go closer to 1/3 pot or less, so you can set up a 4325/8888/shove or go 5775/shove
