Pre Flop: (t1350) Hero is MP1 with 8 8
3 folds, Hero raises to t1600, 1 fold, CO raises to t26955 all in, 3 folds, Hero calls t7529 all in

When I raised here I pretty much decided I wasn't going to fold Should I fold to this lame push here? like 95 left with 63 paying. Anyone prefer shove preflop?

When I raised here I pretty much decided I wasn't going to fold

then just shove your 15 bb's

^^ my exact thoughts when i read the op. and i certainly wouldnt fold to the shove.

Yeh I thought about it, I would for sure do it with same amount of bb's at 200-400 but the ante at 300-600 is so lame.

I think raise/calling might be slightly better than shoving. Obviously depends on opponents and other stuff, but w no information I'd probably raise w the intention of calling any action unless something wacky happened.

This. Some idiot might reship 55 when he would definitely fold it to shove.

Edit- I really hope I dont end up reshipping 55 in this spot sometime soon.

+1 for open shoving. Although pushing will most likely fold out some lower pairs you want in, I think with 88 you want more folds i.e dont want someone restealing QJs etc. Also with raising to 1600 you run the risk of being flatted abunch. 88 is probably the best hand I'd open shove here 99 I'd raise/call.

ASpoker is right...its close but raise call is slightly better.

So everyone is calling this Huge push? I mean if someone with like 10k shoves its easy call, but was little unsure of this huge bet.
