No reads...new table. I initially checked to induce a bluff, but potting the turn was unexpected. Easy fold?

no reads, so why would you expect him to bluff at the A high flop? bet that crap.
so you induce a bluff on the flop, why check the turn? i am struggling to understand that play too.

after calling flop, push turn. he might fold AJ, AQ, or J9. of course, any nit who flat calls with AK preflop is folding now.

as played, i still think there's a chance villain is bluffing. pot size just means he didn't want to push. if you can induce one bluff, you can induce 2 amirite? raise all in.

flop is good. I c/c such a lot. prob is turn sucks since he could be speculating pre. board gets dangerous on turn to c/c since he pot bets flop hes prob pot betting turn. if it was like the 2d then c/c turn would be my preferred line. I might have donk lead 1/2 pot on turn and folded to a shove since we're behind all Ax > A7 and i doubt if we c/c flop and lead turn JJ-KK shove. so ur looking at sets and 2perr hands. i really dont mind a fold.

but as played you cant fold b/c your hand looks like KK,QQ. so every other line is better than this

at least the likelihood of a total bluff is increased here. essentially i am saying the line is bad b/c hero gives villain a very good bluffing spot and himself a hard time! when u play an A like this it is at least also for bluff induce so in consequence of that you have to pick up the bluffs then...

not when they pot flop and turn on a wet board. and ur incorrect.....OP CAN fold and prob SHOULD fold since he just about beat only a bluff.

Villain had such a bluffy line, but that's still all that I beat.

I had to fold it, I had an above avg stack, and couldnt see stacking off with 50bb with TPGK.

I left the door open to him to bluff by checking both streets, but even with a draw I don't see him potting on the turn, and he's certainly not folding to a shove at that point. Had to fold.
