FTOPS 5k: 2 JJ hands FTOPS 5k: 2 JJ hands

So blinds are 30/60, and I don't really have definitive reads nor do I recognize anyone at my table (except a couple, but still no reads.)

Anyways, UTG raises to 180, he has 12k and he covers us all. UTG+3(7k stack) calls and me in MP calls with JJ with a (6.8k) stack. The guy next to me is a shorty with like a 1.8k or so stack. Anyways, he squeeze pushes over all of us, and UTG folds, and UTG+3 reraises all in. SO what's my action with JJ here?

Also, another hand, UTG+1 raises to 180, everyone folds to me in SB and I have JJ there and he covers me, and I opt to call and BB folds. Flop is KQ5, I c/c a standard flop bet. Turn is a J, and we both check through. River is an A, and I opt to value bet like 750 or so into a 1200 or so pot. He raises to 1800, what's my play?

Feel free to criticize my lines as well.

1) with an utg 3x and utg+1 cold call, plus like you said if there's suspicion a shortstack squeezemine may go off thats even worse... read-dependent on the ep players but unless they've been splashy JJ here should be strictly setmining value pf... as played fold to that type of action

2) don't mind a flat from the sb if raise is ep, (if not im most likely 3betting oop pf). turn is interesting because betting out may be a nice move; betting 1/2 the pot will certainly keep top pair+ in the hand, which is the only hand going to pay you off anyways... basically a donkbet of 750 on the turn > checking w/ anticipation to c/r

if we c/r turn (assuming villain bets) hes folding a lot, but calling or rr'ing with cooler hands (lower set, top two, etc)... however those cooler hands are going to pay off a 750 turn bet, though arouse suspicion... in theory you're trading his double-barrel bluff turn equity for a turn-and-river value bet thats very much an odd line, which seems like a good idea in an ftops event

i'm aware we're the one getting coolered some of the time but i'm not folding or planning to get into spot pressuring me to fold, so i'm mostly discounting it in my thought process...

i like a turn and river oop v-bet, though checking through is another way to go. as for the river raise, its ~t3000:~t1050 so i hate folding, just call.

First hand's really close IMO, second one I think pitch it even though the price is good.

todd and shaun what is your reasoning to call hand 1 you think utg+3 is shoving a wide enough range for us to be calling profitably cause the fact we should never have a hand that calls?

he just isoes a wide enough range where /jj is a good call ..

first is a call imo (he should be flatting his whole range that he wants to play with his first action, and then shoving the whole range he has chosen to play with his second action... so if he is playing optimally, his range here should be everything he wants to play utg+1 to a utg raise... which is a relatively strong range, but overall weaker than JJ)

second is easy fold

I drop hand 1 like it's hot. Seabeast may be correct but that's not how most rando's think. Getting in >100bbs here with JJ seems bad.

Hand 2, fold flop, but rest looks okay (easy fold on river)

its a $5k.... i think your better off thinking everyone is a non rando; until proven otherwise, than the otherway around.
