has villain been limping often... or has he been opening for the most part?? This kinda looks like one of those "weak" limps hoping one of the short stacks shove over his weak lookin limp

c/f turn is fine

hows a bet fold flop? Doesnt he reraise hands that beat us like always on that board?
11-14-2008 , 06:41 PM
no reads. he was at my table for like 10 hands or so.
he raised once in LP and flatcalled an utg+1 raise after a caller in MP.

the lack of information on his style makes this spot so ugly for me

a worse pair that calls a check/shove should be exclusively something like J10/JQ/KQ which has good equity, everything else has us in bad shape.

If he does have a draw; unless he's playing some jungle ish, its gonna be a pretty good combo draw.

i would check raise all in on the flop. his calling range is the same if we open shove or check raise shove in this spot. therefore let him bet 1200 with bluff hands that can not call a shove.

i dont think good or even marginal players are limping in with big hands at this stage of a tourney very often, so without more info, i think our top pair is good more than enough to get it in here on the flop.
