1 from money of 150 rebuy - I have a top 10 stack and am somehow called by 2 stacks bigger than me. BB in this case is a notoriously laggy regular and no reads on UTG+1.

Thoughts on my initial check and now what to do appreciated.

I'd definitely bet the first time as you could be giving a ton of free cards to weakish hands, but once there's a bet and a raise behind you, I'd just ditch it. The stacks are really deep and you basically have to commit your whole stack against two players showing extreme strength to go forward.

fold

I feel your PFR was low and allowed the big blind in. Looks like you wanted this action and got it.

Second, you didnt bet your jacks and checked them down which is beyond me so why you even played them is the real question unless all you wanted to do was flop a set. You might as well have folded them PF. With a bet you gauge a better understanding of where you stand. You may have gotten raised by the guy in later position or just called. This leaves the laggy player with lower bluffing odds if it was a bluff. IF im still raised I fold in the scenario you described.

I myself would have raised 4 times the BB PF and bet about 3/4 the pot post flop...

why did we check the flop from mid-position? with that in mind we have no choice but to fold

Seems like the standardest b/f ever, now just fold

LOL why not just type in the chat u have tens or jacks... dude.. i hate the flop check but standard fold there after a raise and a rr... poss a10 vs fd but doubt it looks stronger then that... would be helluva funny if both ended up with flush draws..

At the time I felt like in this exact spot, this deep on the bubble i'd be getting raised very often and thought if it checked through my hand was disguised for value and wouldn't have to make any decisions for my entire stack.

What do u do if cbet and raised? Seems like that is going to happen often with the flop texture (although having the Jh helps a bit).

I like your thinking. You can represent AK/AQ/underpair and opponents will often bluff at the pot, though not as much 3ways. After the action in front of you it's an easy muck.

if hero has AA and checks the flop is it the same fold? dont really think good aggro players on the bubble would be flatting pairs bigger than JJ that deep especially. i guess utg plus 1 could have a big pair looking for the squeeze.
