Equity for ICM/Bubble Factor

Cash player getting involved in more tournaments.
I asked this question in the Beginners Forum with no response, so I thought you guys may be able to help.
I would just like to confirm how to work out correct equity and odds when ICM or Bubble Factor is involved.
Is it Equity x ICM
For example:
The ‘normal’ equity is 33% (2/1) but the ICM or Bubble Factor is 1.4.
Therefore the equity required is now 46% (1/1)
The ‘normal’ equity is 33% (2/1) but the ICM or Bubble Factor is 2.5.
Therefore the equity required is now 82% (5/1)
Is this the way you work out your equity required with BF
‘Kill Everyone’ said to divide the pot odds by BF but it doesn’t seem to make sense.
Thanks

How did you come up with the bubble factor #?

I'm certainly no expert and still learning but you need an ICM calculator. Its your equity in the prize pool.
Page 123 of 'Kill Everyone' explains it quite well.
Once you work it out and have a BF of 1.4, this means that losing a hand would hurt 1.4 times as winning therefore you need better odds to justify playing, relative to the tournament.
I think that's why pushing is better than calling because you have FE on your side.
I don't think I'm the one who should be explaining about ICM on this forum but if anyone would like to clarify or advise, please do.
