No reads on the villain he's only been at the table 15 hands.

My thought process is that folding is weak because he can easily r/f and leave himself >20BB. Shoving is fine but R/C is better because it allows us to get away if the BB wakes up with something.
wug?

I'm not r/c 55 in that spot tbh ever, its a shove or fold and I err on the side of fold without any reads (as posted)

r/c is the same as shove except we get to fold when the BB wakes up with a hand. the guy isn't folding any more hands to a shove than he is to a 3bet

do we really want the button 4 bet jamming J10ss with some perceived fold equity?

think if u make it 3x, 23 effective he wont think he has any+ it will make ur lange look stronger than if u 4x or woteva

I disagree that r/c is exactly the same as shove without reads, as donks can flat sometimes with hands they might fold, and it may induce lighter 4bet jams with hands like 66-88 (from either player) that might find folds to a 3bet AI. I'm also not confident that our 55 will be any good against a 4bet AI range from BTN, anyway. We set up a situation where we have to call and are best flipping for >1/2 our stack.

if r/c or r/f are best options then really we might as well set our stack on fire.

EASY ALLIN RAM PRE TO 555555
like this a lot better than 3 bet call since button might flat or some gay ****

is this HH missing something or is it just me? something with the antes or actual positioning?

If BB has less or if we're BB I'd shove all day and twice on sunday, but with pretty much exactly these stacksizes I might actually just close my eyes and fold this, or call and play a flop against someone really straightforward.

yep like I said r/c or r/f just create a bunch of problems that if we're going to continue we might as well go all in.
