You buy "time tokens" to use as card protectors. 90% goes to charity and 10% to the dealers and token vendors.
During the tournament the dealer has a small LCD screen that she rests her hand on while she waits for you to act. It glows yellow after 10 seconds, then red after a few more. The dealer then takes your time token, the screen resets and you get another 15 seconds before the dealer takes another token. If you don't have a token, she mucks your cards.
Now when the player cries "dealer took my hand, so unfair!" Everyone will just say "this was a charity tournament. You should've given ($5/$20/$100/etc) to charity."
(And the dealers will say ahead of time "nothing personal, this is a "muckament." If we don't muck some hands we don't get paid.)
