Can I change my plan after the click back??? Can I change my plan after the click back???

Villain was opening a ton but didn't seem to get out of line once. He went to showdown a bunch and always had a solid hand. He opened and then called some 18-24 bb reships with hands like 88. The bb is the live one. When he opens this I decide to 3bet over calling because I should still be solidly ahead of his range, and I don't want the bb coming along which he will everytime. I decided that I am 3-betting with the intention of not loving it but calling a shove. Then he clicks it back. I didn't see this particular villain ever really getting out of line here, and I can't see how he is ever folding getting that price.

Can I change my plan here?

Do you think the click back narrows his range in this spot? I could see if we were deeper but it would just be shocking if he folded to a 5bet jam here.
