Just got moved for the fifth time in 5 hours, 5800 in chips, 200/400/25. Fourth hand at the table, no reads. Guy in his 40s raises to 1500 from UTG+2, you're 2 to his left. He has 2400 behind. You look down at TT. Your action?

I'm allin because he probably has AK and will fold to a shove.

I don't have enough experience playing live, but is he really going to fold AK?

No way he is going to fold AK there. I'd push and take the coinflip. I'm guessing he DOES have AK or suited AQ. If he had something like 22-88 he would most likely have pushed. If he had JJ-AA, his bet would probably have been more like 3xBB rather than about 3.5xBB. Your stack is too short to toss this.

He's obviously probably not going to fold AK. I just know these fields are ridiculously soft from what I hear. Arrrrrrrrrrrrin.

i ship it in and dont feel too great about it. if hes an old guy, id be much happier if he shoved, tho his raise is more indicative of AK AQ, since old guys like to raise call shove with these type of hands live, minraise AA KK and shove most other PPs. dont ask me why. as gobbo said, they suck.

I ship it in and feel fine about it.

From my live experience, old guys either limp or make large raises with AK. But they also make large raises with AA. They simply do NOT like getting outdrawn on and want to get as much in there while they have the best hand. It's either a push or a fold here. I'd push for sure given my stack size and hope I win what looks to be a flip.

Results: I pushed instantly, guy made a crying call saying "I guess I have to call, but you have me beat", turned over JJ, it held up.

What's the bottom of our range in this situation? Seems like TT or 99 to me.

ya, insta shove 99+ here....nearly zero f/e against unknown opponent betting nearly 40% of stack...to me, this is one of those "chip up or go home" spots

The best is a 4900 coinflip. He's not folding AK. From his past showdowns, can you see his ranges? Generally, 1200 raise is definately AK,AQ, but 1500 probably represents a pair. How likely he's doing that with 99 or AT?

Because it's only a $500 tournament, I probably move in and see QQ if he's a solid player or AJ if he's bad.
