I'd just fold, he's a good reg on the tighter side..hand is impossible to play on future streets if you are ahead now and you are pretty crushed when behind.

Do you think he can raise 77 here?
Would'nt he slowplay a set here for at least one street?
Does he have TJs in his flating pre range?

I'd expect him to flat 77 more often than he raises, and raise sets more often than he flats. Sure, he can have JTs. The main thing is, he's gonna play future streets well, and there are really no good turns for us other than a King. And he's a reg on the tighter side so I don't think he's super wide here in lvl 1, esp with two ppl to act behind him

not folding vs a reg even if he is "tight"
10-24-2011 , 07:10 AM
his range is pretty strong here, he raises with 2 still to act too, think he rarely raises 77 jts 87s etc.
10-24-2011 , 07:37 AM
why in the world would a tight reg raise 77/87/JT with 2 left to act @ 10/20

fold and don't worry too much about it

lol snap fold against renrad01 and feel fine about it . he's super tight and is likely playing 20+ tables etc etc.

i'd want a read that he's prone to starting something he's not prepared to finish to call here. you'll be out of position without initiative vs a very strong range ( lets not forget that this is a 4way pot ) here if you call, no good can come of this situation.

Spite call to hit the king is the only satisfactory play

I bet bigger on this texture, and probably don't fold to the tiny raise. Make him fire the turn, hit a king, lots of things you can do.
