My HEM lost the hand so this might be a bit off.

Hijack is the Big Huni, p5s number2 in the world, who knows me at least to the point of thinking I have a brain cell or two. BTN I don't know, but he seems really good. I have him as 16/14 in my hud over 500 hands but he's running more aggro in this tourney, he's a "mexican" and while I don't have time to check I have a hunch he's some highly ranked p5s guy too.

I have been all over the place kinda tilt raising every other hand, running 26/24 for the session. Haven't done anything dumb postflop tho. Huni has 15k, me 20k, BTN covers. 125/250 blinds, tourney avg like 10k.

I raise UTG+1 to my standard 550 with 86. Huni flats HJ. Villain flats BTN. The blinds fold.

Flop T 8 6 (2200)

I bet 750, Huni clicks it back to 1500, BTN flats??!?!, I stare at the screen for a while and eventually click call.

Turn 3 (6700)
I check, Huni checks, BTN bets ~3500, I stare at the screen for a while thinking I should fold, and call. Huni folds

River 2 (13700)
I check, he bets ~7800, I fold and post the hand on 2+2.

I have no evidence of him running huge bluffs like this / getting cute with like Q9 here, and it would feel to me that he would more likely raise flop than flat if he wanted to do shenanigans. I realize my hand looks a lot like an overpair, but I also don't think he's going to try to get me to fold an overpair, and if he did he'd again more likely just raise the flop again.

Please comment on everything

If you're going to fold this river why are you calling the turn?

I don't know, my main argument with myself was that I probably should have folded turn. I guess in-game I thought that if I don't think he'll try to blow me off good hands I should project my range as stronger by calling turn to make sure. But yes it felt very much like one of those folds you should make but no one ever actually makes in-game.

I put him on 22 for a repped flop set and fold river.

You should had realised that you were dead when he flats on the flop. In small/medium stakes weak players could flat this flop with a10/k10 but here is not the case imo.
