0k river bluff vs assumed decent reg 0k river bluff vs assumed decent reg

idk how good he is i just know he's a reg. i assume he sees me as a nitty random. he flatted my utg raise earlier with similar stack sizes with QQ. my stats on him are 15/8 with 4.2% 3b and 2.5 AF over a couple of hundred hands.

i guess i'm repping a narrow range, but is that enough to make it an unprofitable bluff?

If he sees you as a nitty random that looks like a good bluff.

I think you played the turn right?

What are you trying to accomplish with your flop c/c?

You don't rep a boat very well fwiw. Seems like you're repping exactly 33?

This is an awful bluff, but it probably works pretty well because people think "Well he has to be a ****ing ****** to be bluffing here, so I guess he has a tricky boat"

Flop is an abortion.

Damo,

FWIW, flop decision is worst of your possible options. With the Ah you can feel good just betting.

I also don't care for river. His check behind range on the turn is mostly made up of draws, air, and monsters. He'd be betting most of his mid pairs on such a safe card pretty often.

On the river he'll bet air/missed draws, his monsters, and the occasional mid pair that folds here. So basically by shoving you get the same result as C/C against his bluffs, spew hard the times he has a monster, and every now and then fold out the range you're hoping for.

i guess the flop was fairly FPS. i think given how strong he perceived my range to be (evidenced by the fact he's flatting QQ vs me) made me think that he'll check back on the flop a lot and we'll get free turns and possibly rivers with decent equity. like i don't really see how checking flop can be all that bad when no worse hands call and no better hands fold? main argument for betting flop seems to be for protection.
