I think you're probably bluffing if you bet the river. I'd check, everything else looks fine.

I'm just going to be (annoying) devil's advocate here:

While I think the way you played the hand was fine,

Can there be a case made for re-raising the turn here? I don't think it's that spewy... (maybe a tiny bit)

Wow, I'd never even consider checking the river here. What percentage of players do you think value-bet a set on the river given this action? I would have guessed between 80 and 90.

im not saying my river check is good as i posted it thinking it might not be, but saying 80-90% bet a set on the river is clearly wrong

3betting this pre OTB here is a cheap way to add aggression and unpredictability to your game. Obv flatting is standard but the higher the stakes the more inclined I am to 3bet this pre at these levels...even if its a min3bet.

Other than that 2 cents worth as played is fine. If he sattied in you could maybe bet/fold 300-400 on the river to get paid by what can sometimes be a scared JJ or QQ on the river and fold to a raise knowing he should be incapable of turning a somewhat made hand into a bluff at this stake, and too scared to value check/raise worse for value. Id probalby never do this in game UNLESS he met the weak satty qualification AND there were good players at the table who I could use the metagame from a ghey bet like that against later.

Thats what I'm thinking. Unless this is someone who you think is really good, I think I'd 3 bet the turn. I don't see 2pair folding, or even if he has TT he probably isn't going anywhere. If he has a higher set or flopped straight, oh well sucks

bet 1100 on river for value

I like the river checkback but IDK if a random in a 1K is ever c/r turn and then folding so that said I just jam in his face.
