I'm multitabling live cash and a couple of donkaments online so I haven't been paying too much attention to reads, but I realized on the turn that I was playing with villain on sunday night in a $55 on stars, deep itm, and that he played laggy pre and badly post. My image ought to be very tight. If I remembered who he was pre, I would have 4bet.

How's my line?

Like it all.

Only thing you could do different is check river, to get value from his air which he may have a fair bit of because of his laggyness and tiny 3bet in position, pre antes.

He may well check some hands that would call a shove, like JJ/QQ/2 pears though so I prefer shoving.

His tiny turn bet is a bit strange actually, so im guessing hes got more nuts or air type hands, in which case checking might be better.

seems like u should c/c river to let him bluff u off JJ/QQ. edit: actually I prefer c/shove turn since he can easily have a bunch of outs and plenty of worse stuff calls but if I called turn it would def be with the plan of c/c river

he's setting up a river shove with that turn bet so pretty trivial call/call. Don't like the river donk at all.

we never have a king here. so river we check call 100%.

+1 to river check-calling.

Well played up until river.
Donk shove is really bad, -Ev.

Wouldn't call shoving top set -EV but certainly not optimal here. Would c/call or raise if he bets less than all in.

did you just call to keep the potsmall i think you have to cr that flop but i guess you cant put him on a 6 but that would suck

yea, prefer check/get it in.
04-02-2010 , 03:39 AM
dont really like the river shove, id prob check/call allin
against some i might also check slam turn

i def raise turn ....and bet river...
as played i like tiny river bet to induce raise but do not like push...

I think your hand looks a lot like JJ/QQ, so he's betting river a lot, yeah? So why not c/c?
04-04-2010 , 12:18 AM
get it in on the flop

ya +1 on c/raising the flop. He's not folding any pair imo and although the board isnt super wet there are still a bunch of draws out there.

As played I believe river is a c/call like everyone said.
