Pls help me on this hand. Just happened on PS $162. The blinds are 50/100.
The player who came to the table a few hands ago, minraises AGAIN to 200, folded to short stack in cutoff who calls, I call in SB with Qc9d, BB folds (was sitting out).

History: I see him as one who is active, agressive, but with a reason. He has experince.
A few hands ago, he saw me beatting KK with AA, 77 with AK, so it was obvious I was getting hands.

Stacks:
Villian, the raiser-6300
LP caller-1800
Hero-6900

Flop: 9s2s9h, two sppeds
Hero checks, villian checks, SS bets 400.
Hero raises to 1000, Villian calls, SS folds.

Turn: 6s
Hero checks, Villian bets 2000, hero folds.

Correct or mistaken fold?

If it's obvious to him that you are getting a lot of hands it is likely he will see the six of spedds as a good card to bluff.

So, you think he would check, then call bet and raise on the flop, additionally exposing himself to a possible allin from the short stack (who made the original bet on the flop) just to make a bluff on the turn. Then, that is a prefect play and there is no defence against that except a gambly allin.

unreg pre
fold pre
raise more OTF
b/c or c/shove turn depending on how aggro villain is

Experince. Don't leave home without it.
