I'm a sng player and an mtt donk but tryin to work on my game....

Villian is an unknown. Obv I represent nothing on this hand, but what can he call me with? Thanks in advance...

ballsy...like it cause I can't put him on any hand big enough to make this call...

Fold pre. On the river your line makes basically zero sense so I expect you to get looked up a lot if villain is capable of thinking things through. You're right that he can't have much here though.

dont do this w/out reads imo. this line looks so fishey i think you should make sure you know the villain doesnt make thin calls, b/c if he does, he's def calling here.

So you'll c/r bluff this river but won't raise AK from the BB 5-handed in a SNG because you think a reg will only shove a better hand.

Grayson.

I'm pretty sure Bond nailed this one, and I'd never call pre unless the OR was real real bad.

With antes I don't think pre can really be that bad because we are getting such good direct pot odds of course part of pre being good is you don't spew of 3.5k on a dumb river bluff. If you were to bluff bet/bet is much better you can rep a ton of stuff.

i'm pretty sure pf is a mandatory call getting like a million to one. i've alwasy wondered how wide we can profitably defend in spots like this.

he can have 8X for sure, baby steps grayson just cause you finally got to a river doesnt mean you have to c/r bluff it =/

edit: calling river might be better than c/r

bahahaha

and I don't mind this call pre at all. I also like bet/bet if you're really trying to set up a bluff and as FD said call is prob as good if not better than c/r bluffing in this spot as you're both only really repping 8x/air anyways.
