i reviewed yesterday my deeprun in the sunday 100r w/ a good mtt-reg
and we both wasnt sure about this spot
im obv a totally random to him
we had nothing relevant history

great spot for a 2nd barrel imo... i think that there are not many A in his range and that A OTT hits your percieve range by the villain.. do it!

not such a standard bet on the turn...especially against tough thinking opponents i like a check cause we can even check Ax here

yeah i don't mind a check considering there should be a lot of a's in his range. Betting small is fine too of course.

i personally will check Ax if the flop was smth like 5 8 7.. but this flop was kinda safe.. i think i bet Ax for value more than 50% of times if i had it in this hand

I don't mind taking a free card here. I don't think that is such a good car for us to barrel after that flop texture.

i think shaniac can easily have A high in his check calling range on a 552. if it was a different texture i like barreling. have too much equity to get blown off your hand

guys what Ax do you think shaniac 3bets pre? and which flatting? and folding?

i think most of Ax are either 3bet or fold by shaniac oop( ofc he can defend some, but mostly 3bet or fold imo)

take the free card, he's got Ax too often, i think.
he's 3bet calling med+PPs pre
small ones he might be folding pre (and if he's not, he might c/r them sometimes)
he also knows it's a good bluff card, so may call again with 77 66 44 33
other flush draws he prob c/r's flop with

Bet so when you actually bink the river, the pot is swelled...and you can't be blown off your hand now anyway. Also, he's probably not c/r here most of the time. Who knows, a bet here and a chk behind on K or 4 river will win you the pot, etc etc.

ok so everyone suggesting betting turn obv barrels river 2 if we miss right??
not really against it just saying it might not be optimal in 2012 poker to take every 3barrel spot u can find cause u can sure find a lot of spots with villains having capped perceived ranges and yet they end up stationing pretty often

thats the most important thing ITT

hes never folding 33,44,66 coz he obv knows thats a great bareling card for me

do u think hes peeling OTF w/random overs w/ backddorflushdraw or smth? prolly not imo

so i like check back OTT and realize my equity
