French poker site Threads are really silent nowadays. As far as i see it at least.

I am willing to move to France as my girlfriend got a really good job offer. But I cannot find any up to date information on taxes and the current situation on online poker.

Here is what I think I know:

- Anyone can play on winamax.fr from Europe and from France in the same pool, no French bank account needed, European bank account necessary.

- Only people playing from France and having a French bank account can play on PokerStars.fr ... Games are dry.


I also wrote a letter to PokerStars.fr about legal situation of poker in France, but did not get a proper answer. Is it totally legal? How can I pay taxes? how much?
