Howard Stern interview with Arnold. He briefly touches on the current state of bodybuilding comps, mostly focuses on how his career began and progressed. All around an enjoyable interview.

Well, she didn't get off completely:

"Lenarczyk was acquitted of driving dangerously and convicted of the lesser charge of driving without due care."

Is there any any data on whether gay men get divorced at a higher rate than the hetero population? I would imagine the answer to that question is yes, but that may just be my #prejudice talking.

And I guess this means I'm going to have to scroll past a bunch of Facebook posts from people broadcasting how progressive they are. Does no one think of those of us with ultra annoying lipstick liberal Facebook friends lists? Triggering intensifying.

Good news for all! Except the people who were only able to resist their homosexual urges because the law stood in their way. They have some soul searching to do.

You can just come right out and say Yugo and BTM's names. They already know, deep down. They've always known.

We've been working with homosexual couples for years and did the first civil union dissolution in our county. IME there probably is no difference in likelihood of divorce in homosexual or heterosexual couples. Statistics are harder to come by and will have to wait the passage of time.

My FB feed should be really rich today.

crash,

Please share with us the best nuggets.

Monte,

I trust you will be there to comfort them when the epiphany takes hold.

fakeb,

Comforting others is one of the most sacred foundational planks of my personal ontological platform, so your assumption is of course correct.

I am also chagrined that I forgot brother jdock from the list; for those of you that play WW, note that this is an example that sometimes you can get away with 'wolfing out in the open', so to speak.

One of our niche practice areas just went up in smoke. Same sex prenuptial agreements that work for tax planning purposes with the IRS was not easy. This screws one of my accountant buddies pretty badly. Except now his marriage will be recognized all over the country so there's that as a consolation prize. I suspect he'll be fine. I texted but haven't heard back. Suspect he's popped the cork already.

As far as juicy stories, divorce stories always suck. People hate as passionately as they love.

I had heard gay divorce rates were lower, largely because tons of gay people who got married have already been together for 10+ years without the ability to get married, plus the only gay people who do get married are the ones who really, really want it. They face less societal pressure to get married.

Wookie,

Politics forum is usually AIDS, but today I believe I will make an exception just to observe the discussions you might get into there.

Quite possibly. My in-laws' next door neighbors in their building are two very nice older gay gentleman that have been together for at least 15 years iirc -- they had to go to a different state to get married a few years back, I'm pretty sure.

I bet they're going to be happy, especially with this putting to rest the ridiculous RFRA bull**** that Pence rammed through a few months back. Lol every part of the state other than Indianapolis.

The muckety mucks just had a meeting to discuss the project that has no chance of coming in on time. They have decided that we will be adding several more requirements and finish the project one week ahead of the original completion date.

this is what i have heard as well. however with the increase in availability of gay marriage, the rates will most likely return to the norm and leave a net increase in sheer number of divorces.

eta- especially down here in redneck land where i live.
