My wife found some fudgecicles at Costco she likes that are 100 cal per. Not bad. She's also experimenting with making her own popsicles.

I think I know which ones you mean, and yeah that are pretty good.

Anyway back to normal, standard yogurt for breakfast (230/22).

Lunch was sandwich, carrots, and fruit (520/25), dinner was soup and a nectarine (350/16).

That makes 1100/63 on the day.

When I got home I had some more ice cream, which was the cookie dough mix from Cold Stone. Guessing here at calories, maybe 500-600? I'm trying to aim high here, and I have no idea how much was in the entire container, but it's fairly rich and I've eaten stuff like a pint of B&J before in the past so I think I'm in the right ballpark.

So I'm around the 1600 mark, still have at least 1/3 of the container left that I'll polish off on some other day when I've got room in my day.

Yeah that Cold Stone ice cream is ridiculous, it's made with buttercream. They have to list the calories on the menu here in NY and those ones with mix-ins are always well over 1000 calories for the biggest size. They probably have a calorie counter on their website somewhere.

The 110 cal Skinny Cow bars aren't bad and they have lots of flavors. Personally I like having a smaller portion of a richer dessert, but my GF loves the skinny cows and they are a decent size.

Yeah they are ridiculous, which is why this was for a special offer but I won't get it again any time soon.

And I woke up starving this morning, presumably from eating that last night.

Hour long walk this morning.

Pizza buns for lunch with Ian (540), jerky/cheese/fruit snack (320), and leftover ribeye/veggies/fruit (570), total 1430.

Terrible day Friday. 2500 calories, just stressed and made terrible decisions and was still hungry at the end of the day.

Yesterday was back to normal, 1280 with oatmeal for breakfast, yogurt for lunch, soup for dinner.

Today has been jerky/cheese earlier, sandwich and carrots now, yogurt later. 1150 planned so far, will grab a small snack when I get home since I'm so low.

Also aggregated the calf injury running up some steps. Going up on toes a problem again. Full healing might take longer than I originally thought.

For your sweet cold creamy tooth, I don't know if you have any Trader Joe's around, but they have these:

Which, despite the really really unfortunate picture they use on the front are REALLY good.
There are also banana icecream recipes you can find.

I asked earlier, but do you own a bike? Biking seems much lower impact than running, esp. as you're recovering.

Don't own a bike, no.

Monday was over, all of it alcohol, after an impromptu concert trip to see Soundgarden and NIN. 2200 calories and a sore throat from screaming. Good concert tho.

Yesterday 1670.

Today so far 400 for breakfast and 460 for lunch, dinner should be 300.

Updating may be sporadic for a few days, I'm actively avoiding the interwebs at home while I polish off the rest of my dissr edits and officially finish my degree. Everything should be done within a week but I tend to procrastinate terribly so I'll need to stay off 2p2 at home and will just update at work.

1790 yesterday, was just really hungry when I got home from work so had some additional jerky/cheese.

Wednesday total was 1500 with what I added at home.

Today will be 300 for breakfast (yogurt mix), 350 lunch (sandwich/banana) and 850 dinner (Mongolian beef) for 1500.

1500 yesterday, 1540 today.

Haven't been super diligent (obviously) so when I weighed in today I was even from my last weigh in. I assume letting my calf heal has been part of that as well.

After this upcoming high stress weekend, plan is to start working out again and back to the super precise/measured food log to get back on track.

Yeah, high stress weekend indeed.

You've got 30 days to do and turn in the final edits for your dissertation. No wait, everything is due on the 15th, and there's a chance they kick it back so turn it in early.

Didn't really keep track Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, and a few hard ciders mixed in, so I don't think I had any really bad days, but I wasn't on target either.

However, it's now completely done. I have no further deadlines with this giant term paper from hell. That should help a lot, since I generally don't have a ton of free time with two jobs and having something like this off my plate is a huge relief.

Today was 1540.

Tomorrow I'm going to exercise for the first time in a while too. There's still a slight catch in my calf but as long as I don't try to sprint on my toes or anything I think it should be fine to just get out and do my regular walk.

SGT,

I remember when you used to post here every day.

You should go back to doing that imo.

I know, and I'm going to.

Went for an hour long walk today, felt good to get out. Calf is sore but no sharp pain.

Breakfast was large, eggs/bacon/toast (850). I'm seeing how long something like that will hold me, so far I'm not hungry. Had a nectarine (80) as a snack on my first break, so 930 so far.

Dinner was 360 (soup and a banana), still not very hungry.

Have a small apple to eat on the way home (70), which would be 1360 on the day.

More relieved than anything else. Proud I pushed through and finished it, vaguely silly that I spent that much but have no immediate plans to use the degree.

First person in my family to get an advanced degree. I was also the first to get my 4 year degree.

DRGT RJ seems better, since she is both a doc and and a sergeant now.

Very impressive stuff, especially the WIM to grind through it.
