WTF, are you 14??? That's from growing too fast and tendon actually pulls out a small piece of the bone just below the kneecap (fracture).
I had it as a youth, couldn't do much for a few months while it healed. No long term effects, but there's a guy at my gym that had it as a teen and has a huge lump and occasional pain (in his 20's).
You sure it's Osgood and not something else?
