Succesfully lost around a stone/month last year for the 4 months I was doing a low/no carb diet which basically consisted of:

Fruit+yogurt breakfast
Main meal at lunch time fish and roast veg
chicken or tuna salad evening meal
Snacking on boiled eggs
1 square of 85% choc
Piss up every Saturday
Pizza splurge every Sunday
1-2 hour kickboxing or running 5-6 days/week

All went well but I did wind up eating the same meals every day which can get tedious after a few months. Looking for some basic low/no carb meal/snack ideas. Would really appreciate any advice and tips. Thanks

My experience/ideas:

85%+ choc is quite bitter so found I never binged on it

Fish in white sauce packets + veg roasted in paprika/curry powder. Cheap, very low cal/fat.

Low fat natural yogurt + sweetner tastes like a full fat yog

Vineger awesome on salad

Boiled eggs and sliced meat for snacks

Jerky, deli meat, cheese, eggs, tuna+mayo, chicken salads, pepperoni, herring.

I'm surprised any kind of yogurt has low carbs. Brand?

I eat 12oz chicken + 2 cups broccoli twice a day, takes ~10-12min to prepare

to me the enjoyment of food comes 2nd to losing weight and looking/feeling better

Tesco's own low fat natural yogurt - 100g = 65cal 7.5carb 1.5fat

That's low enough for me, with sweetner and frozen berries, tastiest yog ever!

Also I'm doin quite a few stir frys using that 1cal spray oil, chopped up carrots, parsnips, onion, butternut squash and a shiii load of light soy sauce, tasty as!

Crashed like hell first few days but 2 weeks in and really noticing the difference, feel lighter and running further. Making it a point to not weigh myself this time as I think it negatively impacted on my diet plans last time, diet tilt! Realistically its about size and there are only 2, size Im not happy with and the size im happy, so gonna keep doing my best until the latter is true.
