A Quarter Life Crisis A Quarter Life Crisis

Alright so I just turned 22 in April. I was at a party this past weekend using the bathroom after my third beer. The bathroom was well lit with fluorescent bulbs. As I washed my hands and looked in the mirror (making sure I look fresh and all), I spotted something in my hair. I went to pick it out with my fingers and WHAT? Its stuck to my head?! My first grey hair... Dammit! I then got a brief flash of what it would look like if they were all like and realized that I'm getting older. I gotta live it up!

I have dark dark brown hair probably from my Polish side so the grey was easy to notice. Earlier that same day I decided that I've been too stressed out and googled how to meditate for beginners (which worked to my delight). I'm not really having a quarter life crisis because of it but it took me by surprise.

Could it be from the $1000 losing session of last week? Probably. I told a few people at the party who said its stress related. I think its a combination of both stress and genes probably. I definitely have been stressed interning at the hospital and trying to make cake on the side.

On the plus side don't have a receding hairline yet (knock on wood).

You decided to start a post in a forum you have never posted in before to let us know about your first gray hair? Thanx.

Also, you are probably being a little optimistic about your terminal age. This is probably closer to a 1/3 life crisis.

Actually, I have no idea whether the hair is contributing to the breakout problem, which is half the reason I made this question post.

Anyways, if anyone has been in a similar situation, was there any steps you took to help the breakout problem, like shaving your chest or putting on chest deodorant or whatever? As a general rule I try to keep myself clean and smelling neutral (no cologne), but other than that I am pretty clueless in the hygeine department. Thanx.

don't forget your geritroll

btw you should probably just retire from poker and the hospital; move into a retirement home and get used to pooping yourself

sorry, it's the circle of life, and you're on your way OUT of the circle

You is so old.
If you could go back in time and live your life over what would you do differently? Do you want my seat? You smell of death.

1/4 is about right for a runner. Only 1/3 for overweight SS guys.

lol, nothing says "huge *******" like a poster who, after being insulted, digs up a random old post by the insulter to make some sort of point.

OP, don't worry, I too got some grey hairs about your age. But now I don't worry about it anymore since they just started falling out along with the rest of my hair. Now I have bigger problems.

They funny thing is that is a pretty old post, and I have posted A LOT in between that post and today, many posts of which IMHO are much more LOL than that one. So did he go through all my posts and decide that was the most LOL one or just close his eyes and pick a random one?

I started getting grey hair when I was like 17. I have to use just for men every other week or it starts to look really bad. 23 now. Pops / Mom starting greying young too I believe.

grey doesn't look bad ever imo. going bald can hold you back with the ladies though. esp if you are also not particularly fit. ymmv...
