Ohh, I get it now.

Just imagine the kind of price I could've fetched had I photshopped your bony ass into the action shot!! I would've even been willing to throw you some extra scratch for your efforts!

I could've used the extra money to buy pizza and cake. Missed opportunity.

I don't think you need a $1700 setup to be able to do a bunch of pullups at home. There are easier solutions for that. Just mount something to your wall or something.

Spoiler:
and it was 285!

If I ever get a home gym, that's exactly what it's going to be. Just a pull-up bar.

You guys are doing the home gym wrong. It's best when it's a complement to the gym you actually go to. It's just somewhere to get some work in when your first option falls through for whatever reason.

Yeah, this is what I'm tempted now I have a small garage space - if i could just setup somewhere cheap enough to do chins and do volume bench press it could save me quite a bit of time and missed workouts. I have a cheap bar, squat stands and enough 20s, just need to pick up the change plates and a moveable bench.

I agree with this--which is why I'm keeping the rower and some kettlebells. This will be my gym of last resort if I need to get some type of workout in and my main gym is inaccessible for whatever reason.

I'm going the whole 9 yards on the home gym. I lift alone 99% of the time anyway, as I go to a 24H gym late at night.

I THINK it will increase my workouts per week... but we will have to see.

2x5 yesterday was in romaleos so I guess you can say they were weighted pull ups. Today was 3x5!! I also weigh a **** ton more than you so there's that. If I weighed what you weigh, pretty sure I'd be able to do 3x30 no problemo.

I don't know, how much do you weigh? My arms are much longer, so I have to pull a much longer distance, so there's that. I'll give you the romaleos argument though.

Last I checked, I was in the 240s range so regardless of how lanky you are I win (lose?).

Thanks buddy. Didn't do it straight but rests were fairly short between efforts.

Warm up - 5 minutes of 30 double unders,15 sit ups

Hang power Clean

155x2

185x2

Conditioning

3 rounds of

20 wall balls
10 95# hpc

14:10 or something Idk

I didn't do the full 20 wall balls every time. Did 15, 19, 20. Whatever. Good sweat. High rep Olympic movements for time in a fatigued state remain unwise but 95 pounds is like nothing so whatever.

why you not finish the work you set out to do so often hoss? Just kinda seems like every other WOD is like "well i said i was gonna do 20 but.....", or " i was gonna do 5 rounds but got tired and did 3". You seem to have devoted a lot of time and money into fitness so why not approach it like you really care? if its too much then step down and work on improving your capacity from where your at. Not 14:10 or something idk, but actually knowing and being able to prove you have increased your capacity under diff weights and time frames. Increased work capacity over broad time and modal domains right? thats why the reps and rounds matter. not trying to come off as a jerk but was just curious about this. dont see a lot of people who have devoted what you have to this and just kinda been like meh whatever. feel like being in a gym setting with other people and somebody who holds you to it might help you produce a better result.
