anyone have any comments on the quality of these items?

pull up bars
flex bar
perfect pushup

or any other things similar.

i just want something that will let me workout at home. i'm moving around a lot at the moment so weights are too much of a hassle.

The reviews for the perfect pushup seem really good. I've never used one but was talking to somebody yesterday about it and he said the increased range of motion makes it worth it.

As long as you're not too tall the Ultimate Body Press (Dip Station) is perfect. It's inexpensive, adjustable and doesn't take up much room. It also folds for easy storage and movement.

Here's a couple videos on what you can do with it.

I have the pullup bar and the ultimate bodypress thing. I like them both.

do you think a pull up bar or the UBP is a better complment to the perfect pushup?

I think a pull-up bar is an essential piece of equipment that I would buy before everything else.

i don't understand the perfect pushup. what is the benefit to using it instead of just doing normal pushups. from some of those reviews it makes it seem as though normal pushups are awkward and uncomfortable unless you twist, when a pushup is the exact same motion as a barbell press. though it does seem like it would make doing pushups more fun, which might get people to do them more.

The Ultimate Bodypress thingy has gotten really positive reviews from users in this forum before. Some of them have also noted, though, that it is not too good for guys who are very tall at all. I think there is also a video review on Amazon.com, and regular reviews. Looks like a winner for a small to medium guy or most ladies though.

it's not so much the twisting, as it is having your hands higher than the floor so you can really get a full range of motion in.
