so you're eating 10 lbs of steak?
02-29-2012 , 11:16 PM
I mean, if it were really unlimited, I could easily put down 4k in a day. Double bacon cheeseburger hold the bread... I could do 5 or 6 of those in a day... that's just the beginning. Would I though? I dunno.

ETA: Double baconator w/ no bun is apparently only 750 cals. I dunno, 4k is a lot, 10k is a ton

Yesterday I watched bear grylls tie a live reindeers head to a tree, slit it's throat and drink the blood that flowed out. I don't give a **** if he sleeps in hotels at night after that.

I mean if I were told "unlimited protein/fat -> weight loss" then I'd probably go 4+ lbs of steak a day plus a very hefty amount of bacon + cheese. I think that'd probably be about 6k.

Oh yea then add all the olive oil...
02-29-2012 , 11:43 PM
olive oil on bacon and cheese sounds delicious

"quite certain" about five digits so quickly drops to 6k but wait i'll also drink 16oz of olive oil!

Yea touche. Maybe steak is the wrong thing. Maybe I'd only eat 4-5k, who knows. I think my main point is still in there though.

But when I go out to a meal at a bbq place and I struggle to keep it under 2-3k cals (with no carbs too, unless you count broccoli, which I think makes it even harder to get cals), I gotta wonder what would happen if I ate there for all 3 (sometimes 4) of my meals...
03-01-2012 , 12:01 AM
Throw in a few sticks of butter and you're there...

I've had multiple 10k+ calorie days in 2012 so far

some ridiculous gluttony for an undersized male
03-01-2012 , 12:19 AM
The average person eating low carb is going to eat at a deficit even when they feel they are eating a lot.
03-01-2012 , 12:27 AM
Not sure if I've had any 10k calorie days this year. I doubt it. But if I did, alcohol was certainly a large contributor.

i agree with this.

they'll also have bad breath, no energy, and be grumpy all the time.
03-01-2012 , 12:31 AM
if you aren't sure, you haven't. my high this year is honestly probably 6k. i could do 10k, yeah, but it would not be a normal day by any stretch. it would require effort. i seriously question spenda having done it multiple times this year. it's the kind of statement that requires video proof imo.

slight tangent: today i ate one meal of ~2-2.5k. dieting ftw.
03-01-2012 , 12:40 AM
I wonder how much ice cream I could eat in a day before I didn't enjoy it. I can put down a half gal in one sitting without even thinking about it, that's 2k calories right there.

I could prob do that twice in one day and 3 racks of ribs + regular soda would be well over 10k.

That's a lot of money though.
03-01-2012 , 12:50 AM
I dont think reg soda is keto

If I could slather evthing in butter without a care for calories, the world would be my oyster

Reading this thread on a diet is unbearable.

On another note, my friend linked me this article today (about SMR/foam rolling): http://www.performbetter.com/webapp/...-1&pagename=91

It seems to stress the importance of RESTING on top of a painful spot and not rolling over it. In the case of the IT band for example, I haven't been rolling all the way from hip to knee in one movement or anything, but I haven't really been staying still on the painful spots, just kind of rolling slowly back and forth over them. What are your guys' thoughts on this?

My thought is I'm officially boycotting LC threads until March

This. When I was on my dreamer bulk I ate 4700 calories one day (weighing 152lbs) and I thought I was going to explode. Couldn't imagine eating twice that for a small housecat sized male.

Starrett says to roll along the pipe. So like you roll up the pipe, then horizontally for a bit, where the pipe is still but your muscle is rolling along it then move down and rinse repeat. It definitely hurts more, I'm not aware of any RCTs on foam roll efficacy though.

This was my last big binge meal, looks like 4600 calories. Downed in about an hour.

Digiorno Supreme Pizza and Breadsticks 1800 calories

Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pie 12-pack 2160 calories

Blue Bell Dutch Chocolate Ice Cream - Pint - 640 calories

03-01-2012 , 02:34 AM
how are the breadsticks?
03-01-2012 , 02:39 AM
not awful

probably should make my own, about time I learned to make some tasty garlic breadsticks
03-01-2012 , 10:26 AM
lol wtf eats an entire box of oatmeal cream pies and a pint of ice cream.
03-01-2012 , 10:39 AM
One jumbo (52oz) bag of peanut M&Ms is like 7500 calories... could easily kill that during a day on top of normal foods. 10k is easy if you take out the keto stipulation imo (though of course far from normal).
