Don't have kids myself, but that's quite correct based on the various kids of friends I've seen. Alternatively you can have them start drinking heavily.

Skipped dessert last night, and apart from being a little more hungry this morning, no big deal, and I lost 0.6 pounds yesterday. Every time I skip dessert, I lose half a pound; IT'S SCIENCE. I'd probably lose more if I deep fried it in, say, 100 g of tallow, but baby steps.

Felt tougher than it probably was; I think I'm going to try moving up 5 pounds per workout and see if I can sustain that for a while.

I got the unflavored stuff, and it tastes ****ing disgusting (and it really takes a lot for me to complain about the taste of any of this stuff). Luckily I've only got 29 more servings to go before I can buy more . . .

And thanks! Hitting 5x10x185 seems a long way off, but I think I can do it over the next few months. Once that happens, I might play around with adding in a little heavier weights half the time (a la your split), while trying to keep the volume work steady too.

Outside of the hit to my ego because of the tiny weights I bench with (because I blast my shoulders/tris beforehand), I'm liking this program, lol. The wifeacore has commented that my upper body looks bigger, and I'm losing weight, so I'm just concentrating on those parts.

ETA: 5x10x195 or 200 is probably the better goal, since hopefully I'll weigh that once I get there

I've been working on my left scap a lot recently with the lacrosse ball and rumble roller, and it's starting to loosen up a bit, but there's still a significantly decreased ROM and level of strength when doing certain movements (rear flies, for example). I had the wifecore beat the crap out of it with the lacrosse ball tonight, and it feels a little looser; I'm going to start doing scap pushups too. Time to even myself out, because having my left side fail before my right all the time is getting old.

Took yesterday off because of a general lack of WIM; I think I'm going to experiment with lifting MWFSat and see if spacing the rest days out helps at all.

I agree it's not exactly the most stimulating thing in the world, but I've been feeling better and looking better since I've been doing it (although a lot of the looking better is probably at least as much diet related). My workout buddy is going to be away on business most of the month, and I just need to WIM it up and get through my **** alone for the most part until he gets back; I don't get the amusement from trolling him about his cluelessness and random attacks of rage, so I'm just in a bit of a rut now.

I want to get all of my 5x10s up to reasonable milestone levels in the next few months (press 115, bench and squat 185, DL 225), and that's going to have to be enough for now. We'll see what happens afterwards, I guess.

As an aside, having the wifeacore beat up my left scap with a lacrosse ball (because I'm too much of a pussy to roll it out hard enough myself) has been working wonders. Whenever she hits one knot in particular under the scap, I get the same nerve pain that I've gotten for years on the front/top of my delt, so my suspicion is that a lot of my strength imbalance on my left side is the result of being all knotted up over there. Luckily she has no qualms about hurting me, so hopefully we can get this worked out and I can get myself evened out sooner rather than later.

Feeling a bit sick, so I decided to skip today . . . then it got to be around lunchtime and I felt better, so I went after work:

Left side weakness + the same nerve pain on the front of my shoulder occurred towards the end of every set on both exercises; I guess I have to stick with these weights until I get my shoulder loosened up enough to handle heavier?

ya i accidentally ordered Xtend watermelon somehow and its utter garbage, even though i think soulman says he likes it. the orange flavor is gr8 tho imo

Just received ON orange and I'll be trying it tomorrow; I think I'm going to try to just add the unflavored stuff to my regular three scoop protein shakes a little bit at a time to get rid of it.

ETA: Whenever I see a page or downtown post in my log, I always brace myself when I click because I'm so sure I'm going to be getting ultra-trolled. It's always nice to see that it's not the case

Moved my hands a bit closer together on bench to see how it felt (the smooth ring between my index and middle fingers as opposed to my index finger just outside the smooth ring) and it felt alright.
