Weight this morning: 195.8; parents in town, much food and wine. Skipped DLs on Friday because I had no time. Bad times.

9/29

Bench (3s Accumulation, 280 working max)
10x45, 10x95, 5x135, 3x165, 2x195
7x3x210

Chins
5x5x+40

Superset (2.5 min rest between supersets)
Dips: 3x10x+35, 2x8x+35
Facepulls: 5x20x40

Superset (2 min rest between supersets)
EZ Curl: 4x10x65
Tri Pressdown: 4x15x65
Cable Lateral Raise: 4x12x10

Bench and chins were fine; did around 2.5 - 3 minutes rest between sets and it was all snappy. I actually think 5x10 on dips was possible, but I got some nerve pain in my arm from where the pad of my palm was digging into the dip bar on later sets. Probably going to have to figure that out.

Weight this morning: 194.4. Decided to try HBBS this time to see if it fixed my forward lean. It did not. I will have someone hold SS in front of me so I can read it while squatting next week. Did 10s accumulation again this week, because why not.

9/30

Squat (10s accumulation, 60s rest)
10x45, 10x95, 5x135
10x5x165

RDL: 5x8x155

Hypers: 4x15x+45

Adduction: 15x80 (pre-squat); 2x20x110 (post-squat)

Hopefully I don't die from adductor DOMS again. Worked hard at pushing my legs out during the HBBS, might have had some slight lower back movement and I have some slight elbow pain from pulling them so far forward. Meh. May just LBBS with whatever moderate weight ends up being for me and stop trying to push it so much. DLing 4+ plates is a much more important (and achievable) goal for me than any kind of squat goal anyhow.

I think there are some of us out there whose femur to torso ratio is such that there will always be some forward lean no matter what we do in the squat. I have yet to find any method of squatting where my torso doesn't lean significantly forward.

I've come to the same conclusion.

Impossibru.

Great success, I suppose.

Decided maybe it might be better to keep my LISS a bit LI-ier, so I dialed the speed back. Heartrate stayed around 100 whenever I checked, so seemed to work.

10/1
60 mins @~4.3=4.3 miles

Haven't lifted for a week since I got sick, and I'm going on a business trip for part of next week, so I'm not sure what I'm going to end up doing. I kind of hope DFII just makes a plan for me, because I'm feeling pretty bleh about everything right now and just want to do some swollertrophy type stuff. Meh.

Amen. Thank goodness it's not another death trip to China or Japan or whatever. I think I tried to block out the details b/c it sounded like you just got sicker and sicker.

Weight this morning: 197.6; feel bloated and disgusting -- this must be what loco feels like all the time.

10/11

Bench (3s Intensification, 280 working max)
10x45, 10x95, 5x135, 3x165, 2x195, 1x215
5x3x230

Chins (NG)
5x5x+35

Superset (2.5 min rest between supersets)
Dips: 3x10x+35
Facepulls: 3x20x40

Felt tired and weak; this must be what EV feels like all the time. Videoed my bench for the first time ever; looks like my right side is a bit tight, but other than that ok I think? Sorry not sorry for the extreme dong close-up.

Went to a farm with the minis this morning and picked apples, got a pumpkin, and got some gainz fuel as well:

Knocked off a pumpkin donut after the workout and it hit the spot. Not going to worry too much about diet until I get back from my business trip. Still not sure what my programming is going to end up looking like going forward, but we shall see.

Slightly lower on one side. But otherwise tight, smooth, solid.

Bench looks good too.

fakeb,

As usual, your eye for the specifics of male junk is second to none.

Aidan,

We've been pretty busy the last few weeks (my folks were in town for around 10 days), so we haven't made it there on a Saturday in quite a while. Eventually the plan is for her to give up the trainer and for us to lift together two evenings a week and once on Saturday, but as yet that hasn't happened. Hopefully soon.

If one was searching through my youtube recently played videos I would have some splainin' to do. These plus saws recent squats do not help my alibi.
