That chick didn't get thunder thighs by accident.

What do you think?

She seems badass to me.

But, I'm trying to get away from having thighs like this. My legs already look like triangles and my arms look really huge and fat. I want long straight legs and a big booty. Code3 took pics of me last night; look at how disproportionate my lower and upper legs are....I don't like that.

MLY, a few pages back you talked about "fat logic" and how it tries to trick you. This is the same, in another aspect.

You could be a world record holder for squats and deadlift, your thighs won't be larger than they are now carrying an extra 15lbs each of unnecessary fat reserves. It is not possible to consider the shape of your "booty", it is hidden behind a load of flab. In the pics here, basically you don't have tons of fat on your calves any more - congrats! but all your "fat logic" sees is now the side of the equation that may lead to slacking off.

The fat logic is distorting your view, trying to maintain your current situation. Consider this - it's about twenty times harder to put on muscle than it is to lose it. At least. If, though some terrible confluence of perfect diet/macros and optimal hypertrophy training for a prolonged period of time, you end up with big muscular thunder thighs you do not want (even after you have them - consider your "fit logic" view may change once you're there!) - you simply need to do nothing for a very short time in comparison and they will atrophy away back to "normal".

Apologies if this sounds harsher than it was meant to be.

How do you plan on making your legs longer?

Do you have an example picture of what you're talking about? And please don't make it a pic of loco! My tastes generally skew more toward ballet dancer or, ahem, yoga instructor types so I'm a bit out of my element here.

What about her and/or that:?

Holliday,

I believe Ms Squats is the official 2018 spokesmodel for Bodybuilding.com, so seems like a perfect choice!

MLY,

As a few others have indicated, you're putting the cart way before the horse; the time to worry about what you're currently concerned about is after you've lost another 50 lbs (which, by the way, would be a great weight loss goal for 2018!). Adding sustained gym activity to continued consumption control should be priorities moving forward.

Yeah, I know.....I still have so much fat everywhere, I need to focus on losing that.

50lbs is my weight loss goal for 2018!

He eats like a child and doesn't workout, of course he thinks that.

As stated though, this conversations is about the smallest rocks possible at this point in your journey.

M,

You're going to have to start off by losing 100 pounds of fat

Thanks Dave. I'm going to continue as is with some improvements in calories and adding more cardio to lose weight and worry about physique later.

MLYLT,

All those Instagram butt photos are a trick of camera angles, lighting, and body position.

Also, the first and third butts you posted are not attractive. (Others, like N1H might differ. But you need to realize he has issues of his own.)

As you lose weight, the thighs just keep getting smaller and smaller. Women have very low intensity in the gym and while you do have a big heart, it will still be one out of 1000 that you will have freaky thigh genetics. A lot of these women are on drugs. Even strippers in Vegas with nice thighs are all roided up on anavar (buddy went out with one who confirmed). These Instagram girls even more so.

Instead worry about the two big elephants in the room, your diet and activity. You don't have to cardio but you could walk a lot and hike. We will give you a passing grade for 2017 because you are exercising more and did lose some weight. But still at the end of the year, your diet is closer to death row than health and fitness, and your activity levels are closer to a paraplegic than they are health and fitness. Let's see you get closer next year so we can confidently say you are on the health and fitness side.

2017 Gainz!!!!!!!

These aren't my maxes, just what I was lifting for workouts vs what I'm lifting for my 3x5 sets now. No one noticed, but I hit 140lbs on bench this week.

Oh My God my workouts were so derpy at the beginning but of the year! I stayed at the same weights for months.
