MLYLT,

What does "messed up" mean in this context?

So you can't string together more than two days of an acceptable breakfast despite having absolutely no excuse. You're so incredibly weak. I hope you enjoy your "bikini body" at 230 lbs because you'll never break 200.

You just don't want it, obviously.

What did you get? I've never eaten there, but looking at their breakfasts, I would have a hard time choosing from:

360 calories

560 calories

470 calories

330 calories

If I were feeling frisky, I'd get the HONEY BUTTER CHICKEN BISCUIT and the JALAPENO CHEDDAR BISCUIT SANDWICH.

Whataburger breakfast is confirmed amazing. However, the jalapeno cheddar biscuit sausage egg and cheese sammich is more like 600 calories, not 330. I bet the 330 is for the biscuit itself. If the whole thing was 330, I would be demolishing those on the reg.

I actually prefer overdone eggs. I must have had really bad runny eggs once as a kid because "wet" scrambled eggs literally make my stomach turn. Even that photo El D posted will do it.

I know this is suboptimal for eggy enjoyment but not sure you can easily reverse a conditioned food aversion.

Excellent catch, Black Aces!

Updated stats:
The regular biscuit sandwich is 700 calories. The jalapeno cheddar biscuit appears to have 40 calories more than the regular biscuit. So the sausage egg and cheese sandwich with jalapeno cheddar biscuit is likely to be 740 calories. Big difference!

I'm gonna take a few days off of 2+2 and get refocused on life. I'm slipping again and I need to pull myself out of it someway.

Fyi mly is on a self ban for a few days

MLYLT's built in excuses were always designed so she could eat fast food brekkies on the reg. Honestly having no excuse for what she was doing probably made her crave Whataburger even more, knowing eggs and fruit were her alternative. That said I think MLYLT should challenge herself to eat non FF breakfasts for 2 weeks in a row, perhaps with some incentive like a charitable donation if she fails.

Anyways even if she can't stop eating Whataburger breakfasts half the time, she can still lose weight, being 200ish ell bees is a lot better than being 300, so that is something.

MLYLT ask yourself if you want a breakfast that's an 8 on the taste scale but a 4 on the health scale, or a breakfast that's maybe a 6.5 on taste, but is pretty healthy for you and will help with your long term goals.

I had ham, eggs and a honey crisp apple. All delish!

Good morning MLY,

Get your mind positive and have a productive and healthy weekend!.

In case you forget...
1. Take your meds!
2. Plan what you're going to eat so it isn't impulsive. If you're not cooking, make some mindful choices at restaurants. Cobb salads are delish, as are steak tips with veggies and salad.
3. Focus on important things like your daughter, moving out, and being good to yourself.

That is all! I want you to come back feeling good. Take care.

MLY,

Be honest with yourself and report what you do, not just what you hope to do.

Make conscious efforts to learn how to cook, starting with unhealthy stuff if you must. You need to develop a sense of calories, nutrition, and flavor.

Find healthier low calorie substitutes for food you love. Get rid of the buns and eat hamburger steaks (extremely popular in Japan). Stir fry veggies with beef and some filler carb (noodles for example). A 3/4 cup of Kellogg's special k protein flakes plus stevia (don't go overboard) with a cup of 2% milk is actually pretty solid breakfast with 20g of protein and less than 50% carbs in calories. Really just look for lower calorie alternatives for everything you eat and get rid of the buns and taco shells.

Do more cardio. For weight loss purposes, you should be treading half an hour to an hour at moderate intensity like five days a week.

Hard boiled eggs for breakfast.

Can (or two) of tuna and a large salad (dark greens) for lunch.

Small cut of chicken or steak with a mountain of veggies for dinner.

Greek yogurt and fruit if you're "starving" and need a dessert.

NO FAST FOOD. EVER. NEVER AGAIN.

Edit: If you want flavoring, use salsa as jmakin suggested. Not a packet of salt, not two tubs of jelly.

MLYLT can't even string more than two reasonable breakfasts together. What makes you think that this is a viable plan for her?
04-29-2017 , 11:57 AM
I think that's been her plan for a few months.
04-29-2017 , 12:57 PM
Greg,

I believe she's planning to start it tomorrow.

I'm back and I'm feeling good.
I went for a long hike on Saturday and ran on the track yesterday. Did over a mile of running the straightaways and walking the curves.

I'm starting May off good with yogurt and a banana for breakfast.

MLYLT,

Was the other steak for code?
05-01-2017 , 05:30 PM
No way those steaks are 6oz. And it looks like you ate more than a quarter of the chicken and waffles.
