I would really somehow try to build true connections with your coworkers. I mean not just going around making superficial chit-chat, but trying to get involved, finding something interesting for you, trying to really like your coworkers.
I mean alone your comments here..... I am completely sure, that you can't hide your attitude at work. People sense that you don't like them. You have to change that.

I'm not really sure what to do with this woman. Ive tried showing a genuine interest in her and I've tried talking to her before and I've listened to tons of stories about her grandchildren and how she was planning her nieces wedding and her how her mother that passed handed down the special ornaments to her and looked at her Christmas tree photos, etc.
Do you have any suggestions of what else I should do? Should I try to make sure to say hi to her every morning?
I've been staying in my office and reading during lunch, maybe I could start eating in the break room and talk to people.
