My routine came In and it's Garbo. Josef is soon to be fired. Gonna request my money back. Macros and routine are both bad. I'm gonna stick to my current routine and maybe I'll use his leg day because there is a ton of volume. Shoulders are a bit much too. I told him I need to concentrate on my back and he puts one day with 4 exercises. He didn't even request progression photos.

Saw tells EV fat does not make you fat. EV hires coach. Coach says fat does not make you fat. EV fires coach.

Ev - It looks like this was all you did for back this week?

Pull ups:
x12
x10 x2

T bar row:
90x6
115x8 x3

Supinated pulldowns:
120x8
140x8
160x8
160x6

If you want to grow your back, why not put in more volume? Or split into a horizontal and vertical day. Fwiw, my favorite back exercises are bb rows and face pulls which also have helped a lot with rear delts (thanks cha). i was doing 1 vert and 1 horizontal day for a while and I thought it really helped

Do more than 3 sets of pullups/wk? I think when I Even Lifted I averaged around 16 sets across 2 sessions of pullups alone + 16-20 more sets of other exercises on "back" day.

Yeah that's what I did but my workouts for the last 3 weeks you cannot go by. My gf is home and I have been cutting my workouts in half. U workout your back twice a week?

My current routine I do back twice a week. I do pull ups, lat Pulldowns, and Supinated Pulldowns so while I'm only doing 3 sets of pull ups I'm actually doing more with the Pulldowns.

I mean no offense whatsoever, but you are, in fact, a noob.

My squats and deadlifts are but like I've mentioned before I train to look good. Working out three times a week can guarantee minimum gainz for aesthetics.

Fair enough.

I did for a while, but I've changed up a bit because before I wasn't doing much of anything for legs. I'm purely going for aesthetics as well. So I wanted to make sure I hit upper back quite a bit because it makes just about all clothing fit much better. My bro always had a big upper back and you could tell right away no matter what he was wearing.

Like saw said, you are a ****ing noob. You were just told there's a 4 day version and you complain about 3 days AGAIN, right after you just gave an excuse for doing less work... I know this might blow your ****ing mind, but you can actually go do more work than what is prescribed in some book or spreadsheet.

Additionally, # days/week is not a direct measure of anything.

3x/week full body will have you hitting muscles at a far higher frequency than any ******ed bro split will.

And you should realize what a big statement it is to say your squats and deadlifts are weak. They probably incorporate like 75%+ of the muscles in the body.

If you ran some extra bb accessory work with a linear progression program like gslp or SS that had you doing real lifts, you'd probably be better off than the hodgetwins wheel spinning routine you have going on now. But I don't know dick about training for aesthetics.

Hasn't EV been doing quite good progress with his aesthetic goals? Why you're all (including EV) so obsessed on fixing something that isn't broken?

I'm under the impression he's looking for a new routine. I usually don't chime in when people enjoy what they're doing. He's also starting to spew more BS, which caused my fingers to start typing.
