As well as being a huge expert on India, I also am an even huger expert on Ukraine b/c I talk with people who actually live there every day.

What part of Ukraine is the company? If it is anywhere in Eastern UA then don't send anyone imo. If Western, meh, might as well go although I'm sure you will get deathly sick like you do in all 3rd world countries.

Doesn't really seem that ridiculous although they could wait a couple of weeks. Kiev was dicey a couple/few months ago for a week or two but from everything I understand it is no less or more safe than it was before then.

I probably am but the main reason is that they are essentially my coworkers. Our entire programming/testing/design team is in a city in Western Ukraine. All of the political turmoil has had exactly 0 impact so far on what we do. I'd have no idea anything was even going on if my only source of information of Ukraine was based on how things are going work-wise over there.

ah right. Didn't know you worked with developer slaves. Ukraine does seem to get more popular on that front since Estonia, Poland et al have gotten pricier (how dare they?). Without politarding too much I would say there is definitely a non-zero chance of an actual civil war breaking out. Putin be crazy yo. Be work safe.

DT - seriously, our business is not affected at all by what's going on there. Only in a worst case scenario. But the worst case scenario is basically WWIII and under that circumstance I'd say none of us should think about buying a house right now.

SM - agreed on civil war. But, like I alluded to above, Putin is not going to roll into Western Ukraine without starting WWIII. There may be fighting in Eastern Ukraine but our development team won't be directly affected. Also, they can always just move their office to Poland or we can start working with a different team (that would not be good for our business but is possible under WWIII scenario maybe).

Damn. Warming up for a squat workout and just realized I am wearing normal boxers. 100% chance of rippAge occurring. And I liked these boxers a lot too. Bummer. Still the show must go on.

I guess lol? I dno, that seems reasonable to me tbh. Perhaps 6-8oz. of meat, two largish breads, and 3-4 slices of cheese. 1700 seems fine.
