Strength for the sake of strength, if I had to answer now, but I suppose you never know what will come along. If there is a strongman comp, or powerlifting comp (although extremely unlikely that I would ever do PL), or something else that I found interesting and I thought I was suited for, I'd give it a go. I'm spoiled in the way that I'm a Pro and I make a little money with my athletics, and the thought of paying to do something else sort of makes me cringe.
I really enjoy abusing my body and moving heavy weights around. I like being strong. It's never enough. I can't see me ever not wanting to push it in the gym. I have gym goals (read: strength) that I think are attainable, and I'll keep after them for as long as it takes, and then new ones will be forever ongoing after that. That being said I'm sure there will come a time when I don't want to be 300lbs+, if not only for general health, but also because it's just hard to go out and play a game of basketball, or walk the stairs without breathing hard, or tying my shoes without doing it in multiple reps, lol. I suspect when that day comes I'll have to re-evaluate how strong I think I should be.
