Just be stronger than them and they will listen. It worked for me at least.
A friend of a friend is writing a new "workout book" and claims will change the way people workout.
Started off about how bulking and cutting everyone's been doing is wrong. I'm trying not 2 say anything 2 my friend about it since this guy writing the book is a juice bag and my friend thinks this guy knows everything.
Ended the conversation with I should stop heavy squating since it will end up ruining my knees and back.
Hard to argue when the so called author is jacked up from the roids and I'm just average looking. Lol.
Guy at the gym yesdurrday wearing a belt loaded up the bar with 315 and deadlifted several reps with a horribly rounded back. Rounded like how many of us look when we first lean over the bar and psyche ourselves up (but then we align our back before the lift). He kept his back rounded until lockout. I thought yikes, this guy. Then he goes over for more plates and I look on in horror as he adds two more 45s and completes more rounded back deadlifts at 405. I stayed true to my commitment not to say anything to anyone at the gym anymore but it was tough. Ashamed I didn't take video.
I swear the indestructible rubber-back thing is just genetic, just another thing to rustle our jimmies because they don't "deserve" to lift that much. Kinda like the black guys that spend 1/2 hour a week in the gym and walk around with 8% bf.

You should have at least gone up to introduce yourself and say hi to jdock. H&F bros gotta stay together man.
fat kid quarter squatting 245lbs with the pussy pad with terrible form loudly complaining to his buddy about how his back was sore between sets... no camera today tho
Today I saw what I guess would be called seated good mornings. Basically sat on a box in a rack like with a box squat, then leaned over to do good mornings from the seated position. Seems ******ed to me. Thoughts?
Lots of very strong people like these. They will get your back strong if you can avoid blowing out discs. They will also almost certainly shorten these guys' lifting careers because they eventually will wear out the discs.

The round-back lifters wont last forever without blowing out discs.
