Measuring your bw every 2 days is fine as long as you're aware of the variance involved. Try to measure under as equal conditions as possible. E.g. in the morning, after taking a piss but before doing anything else, with no clothes etc. You should be seeing pretty fast progress given your low starting weight.

And of course, your results will be way, way worse from a body composition viewpoint without adding exercise, as I'm sure you know.
