I just got home and videos are transferring off my camera now. I plan to get them trimmed and uploaded shortly.

Ya I checked the forum right before I lifted to see if either of you two had posted to give me a goal. GL and crush it.

BTW, I just did my standard #MaxOutFriday stuff and didn't really treat it like a mock meet. Think I failed 125 4 times on the clean. lolz

Ya I weighed in at 190.4 yesterday morning since I have been keeping cals up until after the mock meet. I'm kinda thinking I'll just stay at this weight though and drop 3# when I do an actual meet because **** calorie deficits while doing Bulgarian.

We finally got jerk blocks and I wanted to try all my warmup sets for Snatch and Clean off the high blocks so I could practice my third pull. I'm going to do this for at least two weeks since that is IMO my biggest weakness.

Crazy thing is I was thinking 35# = 15kg, but it's actually 15.9 kg. So I actually did a 101.8kg snatch. Super holla!!

GJ on the 220 snatch. You've definitely been strong enough to do it for a long time, just needed to work on catch height.

Thanks brah. I think working off the high blocks is helping me figure out the 3rd pull so much, so I hope to continue to see progress. I also notice that with Bulgarian that some days are just better than others and I think when I hit that snatch I was having a "good snatch day". Hoping I can recreate several more of those in the near future.

GPP workout - interior demolition work for the new gym. Basically the coaches at my current gym had a bit of a falling out and one of them is off to start his own gym. This guy hasn't been my coach, but he's the person I talk to the most about technique, programming, finding new sources for weightlifting info, etc. Anyway, I'll be taking my talents to this new gym and will also be starting to teach some Olympic weightlifting classes to beginners as well. Hey, free gym + some side maney is good imo.

So, I've noticed that my squats have been very ****ty lately. I'm going to deload on intensity this week on all my lifts, but probably do a little bit more volume. I think I need it anyways since I've not done a real deload since I started Bulgarian. So basically I might squat a couple singles at 160+ if I'm feeling well, but the plan is to just work up to a couple doubles or triples. I'm also going to alternate between high and low blocks for my pulls so that I'm also deloading them for this week. I still plan on doing #MaxOutFriday though.

Friends? You know I don't have friends... but for realz, the majority of them are moving over to the new gym of course. I'm still training at my old gym and it's pretty much a ghost town compared to what it was the past weeks.
