Do you diet types ever dream about what you're going to eat on your cheat day / cheat meal, and then wake up that day with no clue what you want to eat?

Taking the woman out for dinner tonight, and I can't decide where to go. I've been basically carbohydrate-deprived for weeks. What do you guys go for when you've earned your cheat?

I don't really plan cheat meals, I'll just get a craving one day and say "screw it, I haven't cheated in a week" and then I'll eat until I feel bad about it. Generally I get set off by:

the corn chips in the pantry
housemates eating french fries
not having any easy sources of protein so I convince myself that eating somebody's leftover hamburger is a good idea.

That said, if I were in your shoes I would eat pasta until I felt sick.

I haven't done a real cheat meal in forever, most of the time I just eat a lot more of regular food. Which I do every night, so I dunno.

My cheat "fantasy" these days is basically any of the gazillion OOT food prop bets suggested daily, sadly. Tons of McNuggets or maybe just a ton of Swedish fish.

I've tried to keep my cheat meals more reasonable lately--more of a very tasty version of what I should be eating anyway.

Lately, I've been getting a burrito bowl at Chipotle with a little rice, black beans, double steak or chicken and steak, guacamole, and salsa. I actually much prefer it to the regular burrito or tacos now.

Taco Bell.

Wish there were a Chipotle around here - though, lol at the burrito bol being a "cheat meal" - what is that, like 700 calories, with nothing particularly bad for you in it?

Sure, that was my point--most of my meals are around 400 calories, and a double meat and guac bol is 850 or so, with more carbs than I'd usually consume in any one sitting. It more than satisfies my cravings, and it's not at all bad for me. If I were bulking instead of trying to lose (a lot of) weight, it wouldn't even be a cheat at all.

yeah couldn't justify going a few thousand calories on pizza rolls, but if they do mcnuggets or tater tots or something, I'm definitely going for it.

Never plan my cheats; I just go with the flow. If I feel I haven't overdone it for the day/week I'll eat something if I really want it. Also if I had a super hard work out I'll just treat myself
