Anyone who prefers to measure their lifts relative to bodyweight.

I thought the total was strict press, not bench press, or is that only in crossfit land?

lol, yes, that's only in crossfit land

I know there's a bias against bench press because it's not "functional", but c'mon son

the fact that you're already over 1000 would seem to preclude you from entering

BtM,

Less than 20% bf, currently lower than 1k lifting total?

Snitch,

D'awwwwwww

curtainz,

We count bench/deadlift/squat. Never heard of strict press. Yikes. I would have a turrble lifting total if we switched to press.

snitch: hahahaha that was vg.

I must have missed a bunch of posts and didn't understand what was going on. I cannot participate as I'm already over 1000. Obv I weigh a lot more than you guys so it's no brag. If we did a wilks competition I'd be in though. I'd love to have a challenge/goal with fellow H&Fers.

Eh, I'm 4 inches taller than you, weigh 15 pounds less, and bench more -- I'll take it.

Oh snap.

So you bench more than you squat?

BtM,

I'm down for a side competition that includes wilkes score if you want.

Nah, squat just passed bench again, try to keep up. There's a video in my log if you want to take a look.

That said, fakebusto and EV bench about as much or slightly less than I do and I outweigh them by like 30 and 15-20 pounds respectively, so we've all got room for improvement.

Wait, montebro... I just had to have a scan of the last few pages of your log... you playing me bro? I haven't seen a recent bench > 270 in there. come now, bro.

Taking a spin on the ol Wilks calculator, if our weights stay the same, fakebusto and I would essentially tie if he lifted 900 and I lifted 1000.

In other words, I'm going to lose spectacularly.

Eh, I've got much more than that in there and you know I do, so let's not quibble about how recently I've actually done it. I'll probably try maxing out once I stall on this mini-LP I'm on, don't you worry.

Ahh, kk. I was talking about what I could go out and lift today. I didn't realize we were talking about lifts we once did some time maybe long ago when we may or may not have been stronger or heavier than what we are now.

Nice squatting BR! Now go eat a couple cows!

Go as deep as you can without letting your low back move at all. If you go so deep that your back moves, its to deep. If that point is above parallel, you need to work on hip mobility, and maybe some other things.

What makes you think you can DL more sumo than conventional? I cant. Some people can, but you really wont know until you get good at form with both.

If you are happy with your conventional form now, go ahead & switch, but you should probably be here for at least the first time you try sumos.

Powerlifting totals are pretty common here - squat, bench, DL.

Another, less common total is the G4S total: front squat, push press, DL. Unfortunately, he hasnt posted here in a while. He was the strongest guy in the forum.

Now you know.

Bench is the one lift that I'm experienced enough in that I'm pretty comfortable that what the one rep max calculator says is what I could actually do; feel free to hang onto whatever illusory sense of superiority you have until I actually post a video though.

If we had a wager of who could bench more tomorrow, Snitch or Montrcore, I would risk my life on Montecore. And the form would be better also.

BtM,

Sure. Pretty sure I've got you crushed on abs. As for sexing, threesomes obv carry more weight than multiple rando one-on-ones, but you might still win based on sheer numbers.
