Evo,

Do I get a pass on my 405 1RM I did a few years ago that will never be attempted again? Just curious.

I'm planning on maxing out in the middle of March. Well, I was gonna go for dubs but we'll see.

Shed a tear at that video. Hard to swallow that his best days are now behind him. This was a man so close to the 405, 315, 495 club. Now just rereads fantasy novels and tells us about the newest petite porn starlets. A travesty and a big blow to S&F.

wtf is wrong with you? You can't tell that JD's squat is clearly a well below parallel but you whitelight everything Elf does?

I must be being trolled. This is ****ing sick. YOU'RE OFF THE JURY!!!

JD's squat probably not below. Maybe parallel. Maybe a pass at a meet. Imo.

Knees look in, though, which has nothing to do with white/red lighting, just the only thing I really have an opinion on.

In the grand scheme of things if that was my 405 squat I would count it until the day I died.

I only have one depth, and it is below parallel (for a LBBS at least). If anything too low cause my back rounds due to inadequate flexibility. Not the best angle, but if you are used to looking at LBBS's from this angle and cross-referencing how this compares to side view this is obvious IMO. I can guarantee this is 100% pass in any meet in any federation.

My question was really to see if Evo was unduly prejudiced against LBBS's as suggested, (and of course to subtle brag and troll FB) and by his response I think it is fair to say he isn't IMO.

Subtle. I know I missed that it was a troll.

How much did you weigh in that 405 video?

I would guess 195 at >20% BF. Was the Halycon days of Rippism and S&F. I thought I was being a rebel by unnecessarily drinking 2% milk instead of whole milk. Still, it worked I guess, depending on how you define "worked"

QB,

Is it hard to find hammer shants in LA? Asking for a friend.

You are literally insane if you think that wasn't below parallel, there is no room for interpretation. His squat isn't that striped dress picture, for god's sake.

Definitely isn't clearly below parallel wtf

In this log, all squats are below parallel

It's clearly below parallel -- you can see the hamstring bounce at the bottom and the mirror shows his hips below his knees

facking lol clear trolling.

Alright guys. I'm appointing myself the sole arbitership of depth just in case you're serious. I am now the H+F Depth Dictator. Everyone is off the jury but me.

Also jfc JD was probably in the 3/4/5 club if he let his back just round on dls and he still looked like that. Lol just lol at people who think that training low reps in the big 3 and having a good total will result in an aesthetically pleasing physique.

I mean no offense JD, obv not your fault. I still think you're sexy in other ways etc.

You guys are crazy. It is impossible to 100% tell it is below parallel. Here is the bottom of the squat. You cant see the top of the knee or tell where the top of the leg is at the hip from this pic. You can have a good idea of where that stuff is, but you cant see it.

Agree with Evo and Jdock. Clearly went below parallel. Wether you can prove that on video is debatable because of the angle. But clearly went way below parallel just from filming squats from a back view.

Today the public argues about what color the dress is. We argue about the depth of squats. We move on.

Dumb, a liar, or trolling?

Show me the top of the knee and the top of the leg at the hip joint. Then show how the hip is lower then the knee.

ETA: I think most of you are confusing the knee with the muscle that you see that is clearly not the top of the knee

clear cut below parallel, fairly easy to tell even from that angle.
not the slightest idea how you can think otherwise tbh
