Is there anyway to reduce facial fat? I'm looking towards cutting some fat i have on my cheeks. I am 19, approximately ~148 lbs and ~6 feet. I am pretty thin, with no muscle, but i still have the fat on my cheeks. Would it be better to jog daily or lift weights to lose the fat i have?

Face crunches and jaw calisthenics 3x8.

Don't eat prior to the exercise because the food bolus in your mouth will be used to provide energy rather than your face fat.

The answer you're looking for is neither, your diet is your best hope. First off is assessing your overall body fat percentage, if you're a little flabby all over, you have hope, if you're cut everywhere else, it's probably something you're just going to have to live with, though your face will naturally thin out as you age. There's nothing unique about the fat on your face, you can't spot reduce, so you're going to have to go through a normal fat loss program if you want to do it. I can't imagine being so motivated by cheek fat to follow through with a program, but ultimately that's up to you.

get lean enough and you wont have face fat. if 15% BF doesn't do it, then go 10%. If 10% doesn't do it then go 8%. genetics does play a role but you can always get around it if you go low enough. fat is fat.

6', 148 lbs is on the low end of any medical recommendation tables I've seen, so I really wouldn't suggest OP to cut, even if he's in the likely 'skinny-fat' scenario. If anything, adding about 20 lbs of muscle will fill out his features (and allow him to effectively (and safely) lower his BF%).

But really, genetics decide where stubborn fat stores remain. I lose face fat quickly, but my inner thighs tend to retain fat until I really get serious about cutting.

OP, I know that you think you are skinny, but in reality you should realize that you arent. Instead you are something called skinny-fat. Your face will look much better when you put on some weight/muscle. One of the biggest changes when people lose weight/get in shape is the way their face looks.
