I checked out some Meditation Oasis this morning when I woke up, the Morning Energy one. I think it was ok, not really my thing. I think I'm going to continue doing what I was doing and get better at it. This seems best for goal related meditation. I have no idea if the other ones work better for other purposes.

I saw some and didn't buy any. I like it. It's good. I think it's maybe a bit overpriced, idk. That's a ridiculous sentiment because I serially overspend on many things, including beer. I do not pretend to live a life free of contradiction though.

I'll PM when I drive out for a case of ZD. Have you been to 18th Street? It gets very good reviews. I have not.

Eh, just whoosh. Probably nothing, actually. I am eating pretty poorly. I also slept poorly because one of my kids was up, teething. And the other was pretty sad bc her mom moved out. Having a rough week. This week and next should be better.

I need to dedicate more time to meditation this week, it really helps make my subsequent/following days more focused and less anxious. For the most part though, just fine, being a human person, feeling feels etc.

I've found that a high protein couple days + low-ish carbs with a whiskey (or 2) before bed for 2 days in a row can be a major whoosh.

But I doubt you would live your life in that fashion.

I listened to Oasis Mediation when I went to bed last night, the 1st episode, relaxing as you go to sleep or something. I was very skeptical at first (per usual) but the stuff she was saying really surprised me. Like 'you are probably having lots of thoughts, that's fine'. Which was good and true. I thought she was gonna force me to clear my mind and rid myself of thoughts which is super hard. Next thing I knew I was half asleep, took out my earbuds and was zonked out. Granted I hadn't slept much the last few days so lol sample size. Can't argue with the results, tho.

That's the main one I listen to. Probably have done that one 20-30 times. I am pretty good at running through that basic template on my own now, but I still find the guidance helpful and reassuring.

I grew up in the country (not grew up country tho) and I fished a lot as a kid.

BTM,
Fewer tats, smaller boobs. Much younger less been around many blocks look. Legit head turning vvhot though. Will chat her up if I see her in there again on the off chance she's into bald dads.

I think the dad thing will/is ending up a wash or a net positive. We'll see.
