I agree with droopy & DT, but one thing that hasnt been mentioned is at the top position, you want your torso to be in a front plank position.

Monte, you live in Indy and aren't even considering checking into IFAST? facepalm.jpg

6 blocks dude. Monte won't even get out of bed if he has to go further than the bathroom and/or refrigerator most days.

cha,

lol me, but yugoisright.jpg. I see my kids infrequently enough as it is, and lunch during the week is literally the only time I have available to lift. No way I'm driving up by Carmel to learn how unbalanced and pathetic my physique is; I have all of you guys for that.

-Top 5 burger on the DT rankings at pregame meal, at a place with a great beer list.
-Free ~20th row Bulls tix. (This may be a point against, actually.)

Those are all my fav things bro!

Au Cheval. Maybe top "thin" burger, Kumas is prob #1 or #2 obv. Thick way-too-expensive bacon / pork belly slice on top of Au Cheval burger seals it's top-5 ranking. I am not up to date on what all the kids are eating these days, though.

Are you tracking the amount of time it takes you to complete the workout?

No, but I can tell it's getting faster and I know it was 31 mins today, no strength movement though. I take the full 30 secs between sets and 3 min between ladders. I can prob start cutting that rest down, at least in earlier rounds. Reps are getting more crisp and faster as well. Overall cardio has gone from 2/36 to maybe 12/36.

It's good for an "intervention" or "bootcamp" workout imo.

I'd recommend taking care of your hands now. Filing & bag balm &/or "working hands", if you don't already. Maybe do some light grip work too. My hands are still my limiting factor.

I'm pretty good about keeping my callouses trimmed down, but I need to get some bag balm or something like that. I assume chalk is a good idea? I've got the liquid stuff that works pretty well.

Chalk is weird with KBs imo.

I seem to recall that KB weirds chalk the handle a lot, and then their hands too. I don't do this. I just chalk my hands a small bit if/when anything starts to slip. I should probably do what the KB people do.

Sorta stalling this week. Started the week with lots of beer and a burger... but I'm fairly certain I stayed in my cals, just **** macros. Then mini-big-man got sick which ****ed sleep for about three days. Now family is in town and likes to drink and we go out constantly...

I think I can still stick to a plan though. I am still tracking, and still making good choices overall, anything else is an exception. Only seven thousand more swings to go!

I am hungrier lately and eating a bit more, very likely due to kettlebelling. The onslaught of holiday parties continues, which is probably the biggest current challenge.

Stall on weight loss. I ate way more than usual. When I did stay within kcals, my macros were only good about three days this week. It's no coincidence that I also didn't accurately log three days this week (I logged, but just an estimate for overall meal vs foods). That said, if this past week came around when I was lifting or just not paying attention, I would have maybe +4 or +5ed it. I will still have a tough holiday week coming up, but I will try to do better on logging my specific foods rather than meal estimates, as this tends to be when I go significantly over my kcals.
